COOKIES POLICY

What cookies are and why we use them on Bonus Marketing Productions websites

A cookie is a file that is downloaded to a user’s electronic device when accessing certain websites in order to store and retrieve information regarding the websites that are visited from that device.

Cookies allow that website, among other things, to store and retrieve information regarding the user’s decisions and habits. At our company we use them to customize the experience within our websites, identify and remember the registered user and make navigation easier.

It is important to note that the use of cookies does not provide Bonus Marketing Productions with personal data on the user, who remains anonymous.

The user can set up their browser to not accept the use of cookies, in which case the customisation of the experience would not apply, although they can still access the contents of our websites normally.

There is more information on what cookies are and how they work on the Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie).

What type of cookies are used by Bonus Marketing Productions websites

Cookies can be divided into session cookies or persistent cookies depending on how long they last for. Session cookies expire when the user closes their browser. The latter expire when the purpose that they serve is met (for example, to keep the user identified on the webpages and services) or when they are deleted manually.

Additionally, depending on their objective, Cookies may be categorised as follows:

Technical cookies: Technical cookies are temporary cookies specific to a particular site that allow the browser to remember certain aspects such as the language used to visit the website, as well as the visibility of the cookie bar, depending on whether or not the conditions have been accepted.

Registration cookies: registration Cookies are generated once the User has registered or subsequently when he/she has logged in, and are used to identify them on websites and services with the following objectives:

  • To keep the user identified so that, if he/she closes a service or website, the browser or the computer and, at another time or on another day, he/she tries to access this service or website again, he/she will still be identified, thus facilitating their browsing without having to identify themselves again. This functionality can be deleted if the user clicks on “Exit”, so that this cookie is deleted and the user will have to log in the next time they use the website in order to be identified.
  • To check whether the user is authorised to access certain services; for example, to participate in a contest.

Analytics cookies
: each time a User visits a Website or Service, a tool of a third party provider (Google Analytics and the like) generates a temporary analytical cookie, which may be its own or from third parties, on the user’s device.

This Cookie is only generated on visiting; on future visits, it will help Bonus Marketing Productions services to anonymously identify the visitor. The main objectives are:

  • To allow for the anonymous identification of users through “Cookies” (identifying browsers and devices, not people) and, hence, the approximate calculation of the number of visitors, and these trends over time.
  • To anonymously identify the most visited content and, therefore, that most attractive to users.
  • To determine whether the user accessing is a new or returning visitor.

Important:
Unless the user decides to register on any Bonus Marketing Productions website, the cookie will never linked to any personal data that can identify them. These cookies will only be used for statistical purposes to help optimise the user experience on the website.

Other Google cookies: Google uses other third-party cookies to allow Google Maps modules and, potentially, Google Calendar to work.

Everything related to Google cookies, both analytical and advertising, as well as their administration and configuration can be viewed at:
